Help sort books for students in San Antonio ISD. We are so excited to welcome you to Port SA!

 The Book Buddies space is located at 311 North Frank Luke Drive, Suite 108 at Port San Antonio. North Luke Drive is located outside Highway 90 and 36th Street. (Google maps may direct navigate you to 319 next door.) 

Our facility has a garage door (look for the Book Buddies sign) on the north side of the building which will be visible from the large open parking lot. We will greet you from the garage door entrance which will be open.

Please bring your refillable water bottle, wear your face mask and comfortable close-toed shoes.

If this is your first time volunteering with us, here is an overview of your time with us - you will be sorting through books and dividing them into three reading grade-level categories. Books that do not fit into these categories will be placed into bins for trash (physically very damaged, marked on, or have missing stickers/parts), religious content (will be donated to churches), or donate (not age-appropriate) which will be donated to jails or other organizations - you are welcome to take and keep these books, too!
