The Block Kids Building Program is a national building competition for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade and introduces them to construction careers. Each child who participates is given 100 Mega building blocks in various sizes and string, rocks, or aluminum foil to build a construction-related project of their choosing. The children are given one hour to complete their projects, which are then judged by area volunteers from a variety of construction related fields. 1st 2nd and 3rd place receive a trophy and a prize. The overall winner’s project is then sent on for regional judging and a chance to advance to the national competition.

Waters and light snacks will be provided. Construction Safety Gear provided for the participants by Byrne Construction Services

Top 3 winners will be awarded Lego Trophies provided by Rogers- O'Brien Construction

Participation in the Block Kids building competition is free but registration is required.
