WIC Week is a National Week in March 2012 celebrating WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION! Whether it is minutes, hours, or days, one thought brings thousands of heads together to make one huge impact. GOLF TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE
Our Golf Tournament is our annual fundrasing event to support our chapter's scholarship program. Our tournament has made quite a name for itself in the construction industry, and is a popular event that many players look forward to attending all year. CONSTRUCT-A-KIDS GALA COMMITTEE
Over the past eleven years, the San Antonio Construction Industry has come together through both the Construct A Kids Christmas Gala and the Toy Drive to contribute approximately $363,000 in cash and well over 14,000 toys to the Construct A Kid’s Christmas project. NAWIC is honored to again be one of the participating associations that organizes this incredible event. Your continued support in this fundraiser will help ensure that EVERY child serviced by Bexar County Child Protective Services will receive at least one gift for Christmas. Please continue to support this worthwhile cause!

WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
Since its inception, NAWIC has been dedicated to one core purpose - Enhancing the Success of Women. The Women's Leadership Conference was conceived because of that purpose. Come help plan this spectacular event that will help other Women Succeed in everything they do. Not only will it be a great opportunity to bond with your fellow NAWIC Sisters, but it will also help develop you into a Leader.

BLOCK KIDS COMMITTEE
The Block-Kids Building Program is a national building program competition that is sponsored on the local level by NAWIC chapters and other organizations. The award-winning program introduces children to the construction industry in an effort to create an awareness of and to promote an interest in future careers in one of the many facets of the industry. The program is open to all elementary school children in grades 1-6. The competition involves the construction of various structures with interlocking blocks and three of the following additional items: A small rock, string, foil and poster board. Local winners advance to Regional Competition and one semi-finalist from each region is entered in the National Program competions. National prizes are awarded to the top three projects.
