The South Texas Chapter of the AGC hosted their annual BBQ Cook-Off & Safety Fair on September 12, 2009 from 10am-4pm at Helotes Fair Ground.  This year the San Antonio Chapter of NAWIC broke new ground by having a FABULOUS booth of our own at the event.  We were excited to market our wonderful organization to numerous industry ladies, as well as show owners & companies the size, strength, and power of NAWIC!  A HUGE “Thank You” goes out to the AGC for hosting such a wonderful event, and allowing us to participate.  Although we didn’t win (it was rigged! ha!) we presented ourselves in STYLE with a fabulous “underwater” booth, complete with tables of delicious desserts - inclluding a pineapple shaped like a palm tree with fruit skewers! (Thanks Belinda!)  Hopefully, this will be a new event that NAWIC will participate in each year!
